Chimneys, flues and flue pipes in Europe<\/strong> must bear the CE mark<\/strong> in compliance with Standards EN 1856-1<\/strong> and EN1856-2<\/strong>, which specify that they must feature designation indicating the product\u2019s characteristics and performance.<\/strong> This provides the installer with all the information required to decide whether the product is suited to the appliance to be installed and the fuel.<\/strong><\/p>\n

DECLARATION OF PERFORMANCE<\/span><\/span><\/h3><\/header>

The performance declared in the Product Designation must be defined by the tests specified in European standards. The Declaration of Performance is the document that provides the necessary references to such tests and the production control certificate issued by a qualified institute.<\/strong><\/p>\n

The Declaration of Performance is provided by the producer and must also be available in the website in order to guarantee the product\u2019s conformity to the regulations in force.<\/strong>
\nEvery line of products has its own DoP with a distinct number.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Both the Product Designation and the website references for the acquisition of the Declaration of Performance are listed on the product\u2019s label.<\/p>\n
